This portal is the starting point for developers interested in extending and customizing the Forsta Plus platform via application programming interfaces (APIs). Forsta Plus offers a wide range of different APIs. Some of these capabilities are documented here in this portal, whereas other features are documented in our Knowledge Base or public GitHub repository.

This portal provides detailed documentation and interactive API testing for Forsta Plus’s representational state transfer (REST) APIs.

  • Responsive survey rendering API – allows you to programmatically customize the Forsta Plus survey experience on the survey-respondent client

  • Simple object access (SOAP) APIs – a broad range of web services to securely access the Forsta Plus platform from code running remotely on external platforms

  • Custom code libraries – a feature to make .NET-based custom code routines available for execution inside your Forsta Plus survey authoring environment

  • Flex extensions – a framework for extending the Forsta Plus authoring graphical user interface to provide custom functionality (Note: Flex extensions can be made broadly accessible to other Forsta Plus clients)
